Dr Sheetal Baldua is an experienced and skilled ophthalmic surgeon. She has done her Masters in Ophthalmology from B. Y. L. Nair hospital, Mumbai. She has been trained at K.J. Somaiya Hospital and Pramukhswami Eye hospital as well and has been practicing individually for more than 10 years. Dr Sheetal has successfully performed more than 1000 Phaco surgeries with Monofocal, multifocal, Toric lens implantation. She has vast experience of 15 years in the ophthalmic field and has been trained in esteemed collages, where she was a distinction holder all through her academic courses. She is a member of All India Ophthalmological Society, Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society, Mumbai and Bombay Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Gaurav Ghag

Dr. Gaurav R. Ghag earned his MS in Ophthalmology from the prestigious JIPMER in Pondicherry. He then completed a long-term fellowship in Vitreo-Retina, Uvea, and ROP at Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya in Chitrakoot, one of Asia’s largest eye hospitals. After his fellowship, he worked at Sankara Eye Hospitals. Currently, he is an Assistant Professor at Nair Hospital. Dr. Ghag is an expert in various retinal surgeries and has performed over 1,000 retinal surgeries, laser treatments, and injections.

Dr. Sayali Karande

Dr. Sayali Karande is an expert in treating Vitreo-retinal diseases and has a strong interest in managing uveitic conditions. After completing her basic medical education, she earned her DNB in Ophthalmology from Sri Sathya Sai Institute in Puttaparthi. She then completed a fellowship in Vitreo-retina at the renowned L.V. Prasad Eye Institute. Dr. Karande has served as faculty at both LVPEI and KEM Hospital in Mumbai. Additionally, she has numerous publications in national and international journals to her name.

Dr. Yogesh Bhadange

Dr. Yogesh Bhadange completed his M.B.B.S. from Pravara Institute of Medical Science, Loni, Maharashtra. He then went on to do his residency (specialization, MD) at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Science, New Delhi) which is considered as the best medical college in India. After three years of residency, he decided to do his super specialization in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He did his two-year super specialty at L.V Prasad Eye Institute which is considered as one of the finest places to do a Cornea fellowship in Asia. He has also cleared ICO fellowship exams and has taken a special training in contact lens at LVPEI. Dr. Yogesh Bhadange has published the peer-reviewed article in leading ophthalmic journals which include British journal of Ophthalmology (BJO), American journal of Ophthalmology (AJO) and Investigative ophthalmology and visual science (IOVS). His area of clinical interest includes corneal disease such as keratoconus, dry eyes, computer vision syndrome, complicated cataract surgeries, lamellar corneal surgeries and laser vision correction (LASIK). He now stands with eight years of clinical and surgical experience with education from the best institutes in India.

Dr. Chanda Hingorani

Dr. Chanda Hingorani is a Glaucoma Specialist with extensive credentials and experience. She earned her M.B.B.S from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University, followed by a Diploma in Ophthalmology and an M.S. in Ophthalmology (First Class) from M and J Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujarat University. In 2006, she completed a Glaucoma fellowship at LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad. With over 19 years of experience in ophthalmology, Dr. Hingorani has performed more than 10,000 surgeries, including cataract and glaucoma procedures. She is skilled in handling complex glaucoma surgeries, such as those involving congenital and juvenile glaucomas, as well as the use of shunts and valves. Additionally, she is proficient in managing complicated cataract cases using various types of IOLs, including multifocal, trifocal, PanOptix, and Toric IOLs.

Dr. Susheel Deshmukh

Dr. Susheel Deshmukh is a specialist in Glaucoma, Micro-incision cataract surgery (micro-phaco) with keen interest in Glaucoma drainage devices and congenital glaucomas. After completing M.B.B.S. from Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital – Mumbai during which he was awarded the “Dr. Sohrab A E Hakim Prize” in the subject of ophthalmology, he did his Masters (MS OPHTHALMOLOGY) from Kasrturba Medical College, Mangalore, Manipal University (GOLD MEDALIST). He then pursued his interest in the field of Glaucoma by successfully completing 2 years long term fellowship in glaucoma (FAEH Glaucoma) from Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore under Dr. P Sathyan. Till date he has done approx. 2000 Glaucoma surgeries & 8000 Cataract surgeries

Dr. Kruti Shah

After completing her DNB in ophthalmology in 2014, she pursued a fellowship specializing in paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospitals in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India (2016-2017). During her fellowship, she had the opportunity to interact and work with numerous esteemed national and international faculty members. She returned to her hometown of Mumbai and began her clinical practice in 2018. She earned her Fellow of the All India Collegium of Ophthalmology (FAICO) degree in 2022. In 2023, she participated in an international observer ship program at the renowned Boston Children’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. There, she gained extensive experience by observing and working with eminent paediatric ophthalmologists and strabismologists, including Dr. David Hunter and Dr. Linda Dagi.

Dr. Gargi Merchant

Dr. Gargi Merchant earned her M.B.B.S. from King Edward Memorial Hospital (K.E.M. Hospital) in Parel, Mumbai in 2008. She then completed her postgraduate training in Ophthalmic Surgery at Nair Hospital and Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai Central, Mumbai, graduating as a gold medalist with an M.S. in Ophthalmology. Additionally, she was a gold medalist in DOMS Ophthalmology and the top scorer in FCPS Ophthalmology. With 14 years of experience post-M.S., Dr. Merchant gained extensive knowledge in performing complex eye surgeries, such as cataract, glaucoma, squint, and retina surgeries, during her tenure at Nair Hospital. She also served as an Eye Specialist at Byculla Municipal Hospital, where she honed her skills and performed numerous eye surgeries including cataract, pterygium, and squint surgeries.

Dr. Merchant excelled in the prestigious International Council of Ophthalmology Examination held in the United Kingdom. She was invited for a clinical fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Squint Surgery at the renowned Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai, where she received advanced training under Prof. P. Vijayalaxmi in various eye care treatments, including paediatric eye surgery, paediatric cataract surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, and both paediatric and adult squint surgeries. She was also awarded a distinguished fellowship in Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) from the esteemed LV Prasad Eye Hospital in Hyderabad. Currently, Dr. Merchant is associated with several hospitals and clinics in Mumbai as a Paediatric Ophthalmologist and Squint Specialist.
